I am most grateful to have earned all my degrees from the University of North Texas, where I received excellent training from a fabulous mix of “old school LEGENDS,” and “up-and-coming stars” in the field.  I was also blessed to have completed my clinical internship with WCPIP, in Wichita, Kansas, followed by returning to my staff position at SMU.  A quick summary is below:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology – UNT, 1989
  • Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology – UNT, 1993
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology – UNT, 1998
  • Clinical Internship in Psychology, Wichita Collaborative Pre-Doctoral Internship in Psychology, Wichita, Kansas, 1997-98
  • Staff Psychologist, Southern Methodist University Counseling and Testing Center, Dallas, Texas, 1995-1999
  • Post-Doctoral Fellowship with Gray Neuropsychology Associates, Arlington, Texas, 1999-2002
  • Treehouse In-Home Psychological Services, 2002-2006
  • Private Practice 2006 to present

I believe that it is imperative to my practice to constantly learn and grow as a professional, to continue my training and education, in order to better serve the people who put their trust in me. Rather than list my whole history of training, I have linked a pdf file below, for anyone who might be curious.
